I was recently asked to create a logo for a medical clinic. About 20 different (highly varied) examples and ideas were sent my way. The core distinguishing characteristics that were wanted was a logo that was “professional”, “caring”, reflecting the medical nature of the business, the name had to be part of it, and a cross was also crucial. Quite a blend of elements!
I submitted 3 ideas for thought and after batting around some more defined concepts, we moved forward with what you see here.
Very exciting to see my work used in stationary, on building facades and in videos for Open Arms Clinic.
A good friend of mine is launching a new game called “Sovereign Chess" and I’ve been helping him launch his website. This included a little foray into making wallpapers - of which I am quite proud of how my contribution turned out (above).
Please like, follow, read and share! Hopefully there will be a Kickstarter announcement sometime soon.
Just playing with a new idea for Eden Reforestation Projects. I saw a Whole Foods grocery bag with the “-1” symbol on it. It’s a great idea. Save one more tree by reducing the number of paper bags you use. It’s worthy. Workable. Easy… In short: Not inconvenient. The simple graphic they use is good as well. But as this is rolling around in my head, I’m thinking:
"We need to not just avoid using trees… We need to replant what has been destroyed. We need to make up and move beyond. The damage has already been done. Is “not using a paper bag” a bad idea? no.. But if not equal to, at least, better than: is the idea that we ADD trees”…
What do you think about the graphic and/or the idea that I’ve laid out here?
